Got Smoothies?
Smoothies...such a versatile drink....some choose to make them for breakfast, a mid-morning or afternoon snack or even dessert. The best part about smoothies is they are a nutritious & tasty way to boost your energy & satisfy cravings. Another advantage is you can put whatever you have on hand in the blender to create your drink or you can buy the ingredients and package them up so you have everything prepared if you're in a time crunch. Here are a few great recipes we enjoy:

Chocolate PB Banana Smoothie

1 frozen banana
1/2 cup almond or skim milk
1-2 Tbsp peanut butter
1-2 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
 A few ice cubes 

Blueberry Pie Smoothie

3/4 C fresh or frozen blueberries
1/2 C vanilla Greek yogurt
1/2 C unsweetened vanilla almond milk or skim milk
1 TBSP almond butter or peanut butter
4 ice cubes

Very Berry Workout Smoothie

1 1/2 C chopped frozen or fresh strawberries
1 C blueberries
1/2 C raspberries
1 TBSP honey
1/2 C vanilla Greek yogurt 
Ice cubes
